Mosquito Barrier 100% Conc. Garlic
Spraying garlic to keep insects away is not something new, farms, and master gardeners have been doing it for many generations. The garlic juice does not harm people, plants, or pets, but to mosquitoes, it can be deadly. The odor of it chases them out of the area and they stay away - for as long as they can detect it. While the odor of sprayed garlic juice becomes undetectable to humans within a few hours, the mosquitoes will still smell it because they detect odors 10,000 times better than humans do. They should be able to detect the odor and stay out of your yard for 3-5 weeks depending on the amount of rainfall.
- You'll need a pump sprayer of some kind (backpack or canister) to mix this all-natural garlic juice with water.
- You'll want to mix 4 ounces of mosquito barrier with 1 gallon of water and then spray all surfaces, plants, wooden decks, mulch etc. well (anything that can absorb the spray).
- For best results, apply in the early morning or evening. Do not spray if rain is expected in the next 24-48 hours and do not water the lawn for 48 hours after the application. Spray until all surfaces are dripping wet.
- 1 Gallon of spray will typically cover between 500 and 1000 square feet of treatment area.
