Developed by the folks at Bedbug Central and the University of Rutgers, SenSci ActivCR is a bed bug lure that actively attracts bed bugs in a bed bug monitor. According to studies, SenSci ActivCR attracts up to twice as many bed bug compared to a passive monitor. The product attracts bed bugs by mimicking chemicals released on the surface of the skin.

Description

Once the SenSci Activ is activated, the scent is released attracting bed bugs directly into your monitoring or intercepting device. We recommend placing lures in bed bug prone areas, i.e. next to the legs of the bed, next to baseboard, around furniture or placed along paths that are commonly used by bed bugs.

Once activated, bed bugs will start sensing the lure within the first 24 hours of activation and can be kept active for a 2-3 month period.

SenSci Activ can be used by both homeowners and pest professionals to turn their passive monitors or traps into active devices, increasing their effectiveness at attracting and capturing bed bugs.
